Alex brings more than 15 years of international experience in hydrological monitoring, combining broad professional expertise with a strong understanding of field operations. He has installed and supported numerous telemetry systems across different countries and serves as the key link between Iceland and Central Europe. Well connected to both customers and key suppliers, Alex first joined Vatnsgaedi through a project and was immediately inspired by the team’s professionalism and the Icelandic spirit. As the only non-Icelander in the team, he adds an international perspective that enriches Vatnsgaedi’s diversity.

 

Deeply connected to nature, he spends his free time on long cross-country ski tours, hiking in the mountains, or cycling with his family.
